The Brooklyn Nets have played three of the four games in their preseason slate thus far, but they are looking to finish their preseason on a strong note with a visit to the Toronto Raptors. Brooklyn has seen most of the players on the roster show what they can do against NBA competition and if you want to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
Over the course of the preseason, the Nets have played against Hapoel Jerusalem at Barclays Center and have played the Phoenix Suns twice over the course of three days in Macao, China. The preseason has presented an international flavor for Brooklyn in some way and Friday is a continuation of that as they will travel across the Canadian border to take on Scottie Barnes and the Raptors.
Head coach Jordi Fernandez is looking to solidify his rotation and how he wants to play on both sides of the floor before the Nets’ season-opener at the Charlotte Hornets on Oct. 22. In the meantime, Friday’s finale at Toronto will be Brooklyn’s final tune-up before the games start counting so with all of that being said, here’s what you need to know to get ready for the game:

Notable Injuries
During the preseason, the NBA does not release official injury reports so this section will be inferred based on the information available at the time of writing. To that point, veteran forward Haywood Highsmith will continue missing time for the Nets as he recovers from offseason knee surgery while rookie guard Egor Demin should see some playing time against the Raptors, according to Fernandez on Thursday.
For the Raptors, guard Gradey Dick (rest) and forward Collin Murray-Boyles missed Wednesday’s preseason game due to their respective reasons so it’s possible that both are able to suit up against the Nets on Friday.
