Young has been replaced by veteran Andy Dalton, who is now batting the Jets and their backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Justin Fields was benched earlier in the game and it was not injury related.
Young was 15-for-25 passing for 138 yards and a touchdown.
The score was 13-3 when Young departed late in the third quarter.
