MM 11.4: Maryland women’s basketball to open 2026-27 season in Paris

Maryland women’s basketball’s 2026-27 season will start across the Atlantic.

The Terps’ season opener will take place against South Carolina in Paris on Nov. 2, 2026, as part of the Oui-Play Paris event, the program announced Monday.

North Carolina and Oklahoma will also take part in the event, the Tar Heel Tribune first reported.

It’s the first time Maryland will play in Paris, as part of the fourth annual rendition of the Oui-Play event. It’s also a rematch with a Gamecocks squad that knocked the Terps out of the NCAA Tournament in March, 71-67.
