Bay and Mosley host, Arnold and Bozeman on the road in FHSAA football playoffs first round

The regular season wrapped up last Friday, and the FHSAA released the state playoff brackets on Thursday. Three Bay County teams — Bay, Bozeman and Mosley — qualified for the postseason after capturing their respective district championships. Mosley and Bay will host first-round games, with Mosley playing on Nov. 13 and Bay on Nov. 14, while Bozeman will travel for its playoff opener on Nov. 14.

Mosley (9-1)

First-round matchup: (No. 3) Mosley vs. (No. 6) Lincoln

The Dolphins opened the season 1-1, but after a loss to Bay High, things quickly turned around. Mosley rattled off eight straight wins, capped by a third consecutive district title victory over Niceville. The Dolphins will now host Lincoln on Thursday.

Arnold (3-7)

First round matchup: (No. 1) St. Augustine vs. (No. 8) Arnold

The Marlins did just enough to get in as a No. 8 seed and will have to gear up to face one of the top teams in the state of Florida.

Bay High (9-1)

First round matchup: (No. 2) Bay vs. (No. 7) Godby

Bay High has dominated its 2025 schedule, sweeping district and county opponents to finish the regular season 9-1. The Tornadoes will host Godby on Friday at Tommy Oliver Stadium after earning home-field advantage by winning the head-to-head matchup with Mosley.

First round matchup: (No. 2) Pensacola Catholicvs. (No. 6) Bozeman*

Despite claiming a district title, Bozeman will hit the road to face Pensacola Catholic, looking to recapture the spark of its 2023 squad that advanced to the state Final Four.
