On Thursday, Major League Baseball announced the winners of the illustrious Silver Slugger award in the National League, which denotes who is the best hitter at their respective position.
For the Los Angeles Dodgers, they had several players named as finalists, but only one took home the award, Shohei Ohtani. It is his fourth SS award, and third consecutive.

Shohei Ohtani had a franchise-record 55 home runs this season for the Dodgers and scored an incredible 146 runs.
Here are his final stats for the 2025 campaign:
55 HR’s, 102 RBI, 1.014 OPS, 380 TB, 109 BBs
This is three straight seasons that Ohtani has led his league in SLUG, OPS, and total bases. He is also well on track to take home his third straight MVP award.

He has propelled the Dodgers to consecutive World Series titles since signing with the team before the 2024 season. And he equipped his ‘unicorn’ ability this season when he started pitching in August, and became his best late into September and for all of October.
The American League Silver Slugger award winners will be released tomorrow.
