Manchester United could look to sign Levante forward Etta Eyong next summer, according to journalist and transfer insider Ben Jacobs. Man United have been scouting the 22-year-old Cameroon international for a while and could look to bring him to the Old Trafford club ahead of 2026-27. Eyong, dubbed a ‘born finisher‘, has been in fine form so far in 2025-26, with six goals and three assists to his name in 11 appearances.
He is primarily a number 9, and Man United could do with such a player if head coach Ruben Amorim feels he needs another player in the position.
“Manchester United and Etta Eyong could be one to look out for next summer,” Jacobs said on The United Stand.
The Red Devils signed Benjamin Sesko in an €85 million deal in the summer, but the Slovenian has two goals in 11 appearances and will need to do much better going forward. Sesko has drawn praise from Man United coaches due to his awareness, ball-winning and distribution, and many at the club see him as an upgrade on Rasmus Hojlund. However, he needs to start scoring goals regularly or the Red Devils could start looking at other options, and it appears Eyong is on their radar.
