Jaguars injury updates: 4 starters ruled out vs. Texans in Week 10

The Jacksonville Jaguars released their final Week 10 injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.

Let’s take a closer look.

Of the 12 players who were listed on the Jaguars‘ injury report this week, four will have injury designations.

Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle), cornerback Jourdan Lewis (neck), guard Ezra Cleveland (knee/ankle), and tight end Hunter Long (hip/knee) have all been ruled out.

With Thomas Jr. out and Travis Hunter on injured reserve, we will see a heavy dose of Parker Washington and Dyami Brown, along with the recently acquired Jakobi Meyers. Tim Patrick and Austin Trammell will be available as well.

At tight end, Johnny Mundt and Quintin Morris will shoulder that workload. Both players have filled more blocking-heavy roles in their careers.

With Lewis at cornerback this past Sunday, we saw Jarrian Jones lining up in the slot with Montaric Brown and Greg Newsome outside.

Lastly, without Cleveland, Cole Van Lanen could be in line for the start. Against the Raiders, Van Lanen took over at left guard when Cleveland exited the game.

Linebacker Devin Lloyd will make his return, appearing in his first game since Week 6.

Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud has been ruled out for this game. Davis Mills will get the start.
