This marks one of Nebraska’s best starts to a season since 2023, where it won 27 straight before losing its first match. The Huskers also inch closer to surpassing their school records in consecutive sweeps (17) and set wins (53), both marked in 2007.

Minnesota is 17-7 on the year and 7-6 in the Big Ten, coming in on a two-match losing streak. The Golden Gophers first fell to USC last Saturday in a five-set battle, before suffering a 3-1 defeat at Wisconsin on Wednesday.
Nebraska is 39-12 all-time against Minnesota, winning the last three clashes against the Golden Gophers. The last time the Huskers lost to Minnesota was back in November 2022, when the Golden Gophers ended Nebraska’s regular season with a sweep at the Devaney Center.
