GEAUX!!!
Playing Nice: Zachary Junda and Brent Taylor
Three Specific Predictions: Saul Garcia
I can’t remember the last LSU-Alabama game with absolutely no juice behind it.
Maybe it’s because LSU’s season has been a colossal failure and their season ended before Halloween; maybe it’s because said failure caused sweeping changes at the top of the LSU athletics; or maybe it’s because my sister is getting married tomorrow and by the time you’re reading this I’ll be at the rehearsal dinner and not watching the game. It’s probably all of those things, but definitely that last one.
Still, the game must be played and we don’t really have any idea how LSU will look in this interim phase. Maybe Frank Wilson rejuvenates what’s still a really talented roster, the boys come out hellbent on shocking the world, and the Tigers go out and score their biggest win of the season. I’d like to believe that could happen but I don’t think it will.
Final Prediction: Alabama 28, LSU 17
