Both the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be shorthanded heading into their Week 10 clash on Sunday.
As Patriots coach Mike Vrabel revealed on Friday, wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, running back Rhamondre Stevenson and linebacker Christian Elliss are all out for the game. Boutte and Stevenson have been two of Drake Maye’s top offensive weapons this season, and it will be a brutal test facing a Todd Bowles defense without both on the field.
But Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield will also be tested when going head-to-head against a top-10 Patriots defense with limited offensive weapons.
Wide receiver Chris Godwin and running back Bucky Irving have both been ruled out for the game. Those losses hit even harder when taking into account that the Buccaneers were already playing without Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan.
