New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson had a massive day on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He scored on a 55-yard touchdown earlier in the game, and he concluded his day with a 69-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter.
The Patriots put defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga at fullback, and Henderson followed behind the blocks before cutting outside and sprinting all the way down to the end zone.
Henderson finished the game with 14 carries for 147 yards and two touchdowns. His incredible performance ultimately helped the Patriots upset the Buccaneers on the road in a 28-23 victory.

Henderson’s emergence makes the running back rotation more interesting for New England.
Rhamondre Stevenson has been the starter throughout the season, but he is currently sidelined with a toe injury. The Patriots will have a choice to make on who to start at running back when Stevenson ultimately returns. Henderson’s performance on Sunday likely made that choice far more difficult than it’s been all year.
