The Green Bay Packers (5-2-1) and Philadelphia Eagles (6-2) will clash in a battle of NFC heavyweights on “Monday Night Football” to finish off Week 10 of the NFL season. The Packers have big wins and frustrating losses through nine weeks, including a baffling performance in a 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers the last time out. The Eagles, meanwhile, won back-to-back games entering the bye and will be rested and healthy going into Monday night’s trip to Green Bay.
The winner in primetime will take a big step towards being a top team in the conference in 2025.
A quick preview of Packers-Eagles on “Monday Night Football” from Lambeau Field:
What to watch
Life after Kraft: Can the Packers reassemble the offense after losing one of their stars? Tucker Kraft was a vital part of the run game as a blocker, and he had emerged as one of the NFL’s most dangerous pass-catching weapons before a knee injury ended his 2025 season last Sunday. The Packers will move on with Luke Musgrave, John FitzPatrick and newcomer Josh Whyle at tight end, but the whole offense will have to pitch in to help replace the loss of a valuable player.
Bouncing back: Last Sunday, the Packers were humbled at home by the Panthers — a team that lost 40-9 at home in Week 8 and then 17-7 to the lowly Saints on Sunday. Can Matt LaFleur’s team rebound against one of the NFL’s elites in primetime? The Packers’ season is hitting a bit of a crossroads, especially considering the depth of the NFC and the division. Bouncing back against the Eagles — who sat atop the conference entering Week 10 — and proving this is a team that can handle adversity (see: a bad loss, losing a great player to injury) will be crucial on Monday night.
Spotlight on McManus: The Packers insist Brandon McManus is getting healthier, but the veteran kicker has missed three field goals in his two games back from injury, and he’s now one of the NFL’s worst kickers by field goal percentage this season. McManus missed a field goal in the playoff loss to the Eagles in January. Can the veteran settle the kicking situation? The Packers can’t afford lost points on Monday night.

Injury reports
Green Bay Packers
- OUT: DE Lukas Van Ness (foot), CB Nate Hobbs (knee)
- QUESTIONABLE: WR Matthew Golden (shoulder), WR Dontayvion Wicks (calf), WR Savion Williams (foot), RT Zach Tom (back)
Van Ness will miss his fourth straight game with a foot injury the Packers admitted has healed more slowly than expected. Hobbs injured his knee against the Panthers and could miss multiple games. Not only do the Packers have Jayden Reed on injured reserve, but three other receivers are questionable to play. Tom is still battling through a back injury.
Philadelphia Eagles
- OUT: CB Jaire Alexander (knee/coach’s decision), C Cam Jurgens (knee)
- QUESTIONABLE: LB Nolan Smith (triceps), CB Jakorian Bennett (pectoral), C Willie Lampkin (knee, ankle)
Alexander isn’t physically or mentally ready to play, and he did not travel to Green Bay. Jurgens, the starting center, will miss a second straight game, giving Bret Toth another start at the pivot. The Eagles are expecting to return Smith, a key piece defensively, from injured reserve.
Uniform matchup
This one will look familiar. The Packers will be wearing their traditional home uniform featuring gold helmets, green jerseys, gold pants and green socks, while the Eagles will counter with alternate black helmets, white jerseys, black pants and white socks. This is the exact uniform matchup from Week 1 of the 2024 season in Brazil.
