High school athletes from Cleveland, Gaston and Lincoln counties are checking off one life goal this week, making their plan to play at the college level official.
The college signing period for sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball and others began Wednesday, Nov. 12, and runs through Nov. 19. Tri-county coaches, athletic directors and social media posts have provided names of athletes and their schools.
If you are an athlete, coach or parent who signed with a school during the November signing period, please email jhughes@gastongazette.com with the athlete’s name, sport and where they will be attending.
