When you look up “Football Guy” in the dictionary, you may very well see Cam Skattebo with his tongue out staring right back at you. The New York Giants rookie has been the breakout star of the 2025 NFL season with his punishing running style on the field and unhinged behavior off it.
Skattebo, unfortunately, went down with a season-ending dislocated ankle in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but he hasn’t stepped back from the limelight. Far from it. On Monday the Arizona State product got into a shoving match with WWE superstar Dominik Mysterio just weeks removed from surgery, prompting concern from Giants fans and a subsequent post from Skattebo telling them to, in short, “unfollow and casually move on.”

The WWE Raw appearance wouldn’t be Skattebo’s only gift to the internet this week. To celebrate hitting 1,000 subscribers on Twitch, he took off his hoodie and chugged an energy drink out a cleat while streaming, evoking equal parts disgust and delight from those watching. Oh, and because it’s Cam Skattebo, he flexed and let out his patented guttural scream after.

Skattebo rushed for 410 yards and five touchdowns in only five starts for the Giants this season. His infectious energy was just as impactful to both his team and the NFL at large, so continue to enjoy the recovery process to the fullest, Cam. The game hasn’t been the same without you.
