New York Giants injury report: Jaxson Dart inching toward a return

The New York Giants took the field on Thursday for their second of three practices ahead of a Week 12 game against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Beforehand, the team’s three coordinators addressed reporters, and then interim head coach Mike Kafka briefly spoke.

Kafka updated the status of several injured players, including rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, who continues to make progress and is likely going to be cleared from concussion protocol on time for Sunday’s game.

Meanwhile, cornerback Cor’Dale Flott was an excused absence again on Thursday after his wife gave birth to their child this week.
