A rematch from last year’s postseason is on tap Thursday night in Frisco, Texas.
Highland Park takes on Frisco Reedy a year after the Scots posted a 31-12 win in the regional semifinals last season en route to eventually reaching the UIL 5A Division I championship game. Thursday’s rematch takes place at The Star.

Highland Park comes in at 10-1. After losing to Rockwall-Heath in their season opener, the Scots have reeled off 10 straight wins, including last week’s 56-13 triumph against Lake Belton.
Reedy enters Thursday’s postseason rematch at 8-3. The Lions have won six of their last seven games, including a 24-3 win against Carrollton Creekview in last week’s bi-district round.

– Highland Park got past midfield, but time runs out in the first half. Scots up by four, but Reedy with the momentum after a game-changing INT and subsequent TD.
SECOND QUARTER
– TOUCHDOWN REEDY. Wow, what a turn of events late in the first half. Highland Park was driving, but a pass was picked off by Grayson Jennings, who returns it 32 yards into Scots’ territory. Two plays later, DJ Carlisle fires an 18-yard pass to Ben Francis for the score. (Highland Park, 14-10 | :49, 2nd)
