Racing driver Mick Schumacher is ending his two-year stint with French endurance team Alpine.
“I’m very grateful for these past two years with Alpine Endurance Team. I’ve learnt so much on and off track, and I’m thankful to everyone who’s been a part of it. I wish them the very best for the future,” Schumacher said on Instagram on Thursday evening.
It’s still unclear what he’s going to do in the future. Recently, he said he was considering a switch to IndyCar.
Schumacher, the son of record F1 champion Michael Schumacher, drove in Formula One in 2021 and 2022 for the American Haas team. He was not retained and has since not found a new team, and a return to F1 next season seems unlikely.
