Georgia football's ranking in the Coaches Poll ahead of Georgia Tech

The Georgia Bulldogs are 10-1 (7-1 SEC) after dominating the Charlotte 49ers 35-3. Georgia raced out to a 28-0 lead in the first half and never looked back against an inferior opponent.

Georgia’s ranking in the US LBM Coaches Poll remains unchanged after the Week 13 win. In fact, the entire top-10 remains the same after a weekend of college football that did not feature many upsets. That’s expected to change in Week 14, which is better known as Rivalry Week.

The previous No. 16 USC Trojans, No. 21 Missouri Tigers and No. 24 Houston Cougars all lost with both Missouri and Houston falling out of the top-25.

Next up for No. 4 Georgia is a game against the No. 19 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. On Saturday, Georgia Tech had their ACC championship hopes crushed. They fell behind 28-0 to the Pittsburgh Panthers, who won 42-28. Now, Georgia Tech will be looking to get revenge after losing in eight overtimes to Georgia last season. Georgia Tech was previously the No. 12 team entering Week 13.

Georgia has wins over No. 16 Texas, No. 18 Tennessee and No. 6 Ole Miss this season. The Bulldogs’ lone loss came to No. 10 Alabama.
