Notre Dame got off to a rough start in 2025, but they looked like they fixed a few things in a 56-30 win over the Purdue Boilermakers and then the 56-13 win on the road against the Arkansas Razorbacks. They followed those two victories with two victories which covered massive spreads in a 28-7 win over Boise State and 36-7 over NC State. In a game that was billed as Notre Dame’s toughest test left in the season, the Irish took out its rival USC, 34-24. After a bye week, Notre Dame travelled to the east coast and looked sloppy in a win over Boston College, 25-10. They followed that up with a dominating 49-10 win at home against Navy, and then a 37-15 win over a ranked Pitt squad. One week later, an A-bomb was unleashed against the Syracuse Orange in a 70-7 win.
