After being spotted in a flurry of different shoes since splitting with Under Armour, Steph Curry’s sneaker free agency tour continued on Friday. Prior to hosting the Portland Trail Blazers at Chase Center, the Golden State Warriors’ star point guard took the court wearing a special edition of Jimmy Butler’s signature shoe.
After anointing Curry “Batman” last season, Butler’s nickname for his teammate came full circle. Curry suited up an all black edition of Butler’s signature Li-Ning JB 4 “Batman.” Along with wearing Butler’s signature shoe at the pregame, Curry stayed in the shoe for the game, marking the first time he’s not worn an Under Armour shoe in a game since 2013.
While Curry wore the Batman colorway, Butler suited up in a Robin-themed shoe of his own.

Despite the Warriors suffering their third straight loss on Friday, Curry tallied a game-high 38 points with nine made 3-pointers while wearing his Li Ning JBs against the Trail Blazers.
Since parting ways with Under Armour, Curry has worn multiple pairs of different sneaker brands, including a variety of new and old signature shoes, including the Nike Kobe 6, Reebok Shaqnosis, Nike Air Penny 2, Li Ning Way of Wade 2 “Purple Stringrays.”
