Missouri appears to be making a significant financial commitment to retain football coach Eli Drinkwitz, as the university’s governing board convenes to consider a proposed new contract Wednesday.

According to reports by Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger, the Missouri Board of Curators will meet to authorize terms of a new deal that would likely include a substantial raise for Drinkwitz.

The contract is not finalized, but Dellenger noted multiple procedural steps remain before completion.
