Two weeks after playing for the SIAC championship, Albany State and Benedict face off again Saturday in an NCAA Division II playoff game.
The second-round matchup is the third meeting between the conference rivals this season, and has accounted for Benedict’s only two losses of the campaign.
The Golden Rams (11-1) breezed 31-3 in Columbia, S.C., on Oct. 25, then pulled out a 22-16 victory in Albany for the conference title on Nov. 15.
