Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week after throwing four touchdown passes during a 31-24 win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day in Week 13.
This is Love’s second time winning the award this season and fourth time overall in his three-year starting career. Love was previously the NFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 8 of the 2025 season and in Weeks 17 and 18 of the 2023 season.
Love’s four touchdown passes against the Lions set a new season high. He also produced a 124.2 passer rating, his third-highest finish of the season, and completed three passes converting fourth downs, including a pair of touchdowns. His final completion — a 16-yarder to Dontayvion Wicks on fourth down with under two minutes to go — clinched the win for the Packers, who have won three straight games.
Love was the highest-graded passer at Pro Football Focus in Week 13 and produced the highest QBR at ESPN in Week 13. He was also named FOX’s “Madden Thanksgiving MVP” for 2025.
The Packers swept the Lions for the first time since 2020. In two games against the Lions in 2025, Love threw six touchdown passes and zero interceptions, took zero sacks and had zero turnovers.
The Packers are 3-0 when Love doesn’t take a sack and 7-0 when Love doesn’t have a turnover this season.
While Micah Parsons was likely a top candidate on the defensive side after producing 2.5 sacks and a fourth down run stop against the Lions, the NFC Defensive Player of the Week went to Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones, who had 12 tackles and an interception returned for a touchdown during Seattle’s shutout win over the Vikings.
