2026 5-star ATH makes decision official by signing with Texas A&M

As part of an impressive 2026 signing class from Mike Elko and company, the No. 34 prospect in the nation was one of the most massive, as he put ink to paper and made his decision to join the Aggies official on Wednesday.

Five-star athlete Brandon Arrington will join the Maroon and White in 2026, as made official on National Signing Day. Arrington committed to Texas A&M in the summer of Elko, which featured multiple highly-rated recruits announcing their pledge to the Aggies. Since the moment he announced his decision, Arrington’s commitment to come to Bryan-College Station, Texas, to further his football and academic future has never wavered.

Arrington had multiple other offers from some of the most storied programs in the country, including Alabama, Oregon and Penn State.

The 6-foot-2, Spring Valley, California, native is a versatile athlete who can play in the Aggie secondary or the wide receiving corps. His innate speed has been displayed during his competitions as a track and field athlete at Mount Miguel High School, where he posted Olympic-level times and exceptional length.

Here is the full scouting report from On3 recruiting analyst Cody Bellaire on Arrington’s ability on the gridiron:

“Elite athleticism at the corner position with impressive mirror ability for a taller, longer corner prospect. One of the strongest track profiles in the country. Ran a blistering 10.21 in the 100m and a 20.35 in the 200m during his junior track season. Can run with any receiver lined up across from him. Has the length and ball skills to attack the football and play through the receiver’s hands in order to separate them from the ball. Would like to see him gain some mass throughout his frame and become more confident in run support. Boundary corner projection due to his size and speed. Has the length and athleticism to line up against virtually any receiver type at the next level,” Bellaire said.

The 247Sports composite No. 2 athlete and No. 5 overall player in the 2026 class is headed to College Station and looking to make waves at Kyle Field for Texas A&M. His dominance on both sides of the ball provides Elko with a versatile and explosive weapon moving forward. With top-rated athletes like Arrington signing with the Aggies, the program currently holds the No. 9 recruiting class in the country.
