Olin Kreutz explains why this Bears team is fun to watch

In the Chicago Bears‘ surprising 9-3 start under head coach Ben Johnson, they’ve pulled off several late-game comeback victories.

Following their Week 13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago had an entertaining style of play in terms that they found what worked for them and stuck to their guns, rushing for over 281 yards. One year after they endured a 10-game losing streak, the Bears have completely flipped the script on their franchise under their new head coach, and it has rejuvenated the fanbase.

Chicago is also making believers out of their former players and NFL analysts all around, including former Bears center Olin Kreutz, who called them an enjoyable football team and had high praise for the offensive line.

“The biggest compliment you can give this football team is they’re an enjoyable football team to watch,” Kreutz said on 670 The Score. “They are physical, the DBs are physical, CJ Gardner-Johnson is always talking trash, the defensive line is getting after the offensive line. On the offensive line, you’re going to find Jonah Jackson, you’re going to find Darnell Wright and they’re going to move people off the ball. They are not only winning football games, but they’re a true Chicago Bears football team. This Chicago Bears team, surprisingly for me from the start of the year, this is a good football team.”

Chicago has certainly changed the environment of their football franchise, not only getting buy-in from the players but the front office, national media, and former players. The Bears still have more to prove as they head towards the playoffs, but right now, Johnson has gotten plenty of people on board.
