Washington would exit the Jaguars‘ Week 13 win over the Tennessee Titans with a hip injury. He suffered the injury while fielding a punt.
As the season has progressed, Washington’s role on offense has increased. On the year, he’s caught 36-of-57 passes for 447 yards with three touchdowns. Of his 36 receptions, 23 have gone for a first down.
Washington, Brian Thomas Jr., and Jakobi Meyers are the Jaguars’ top three wideouts on the depth chart.
In the Jaguars‘ Week 11 game against the LA Chargers, Walker suffered a knee injury. He has missed the last two games and is yet to return to practice.
In his absence, Dennis Gardeck has taken on a larger role at defensive end while BJ Green, Danny Striggow, and Emmanuel Ogbah filled rotational roles.
This season, Walker has generated 25 quarterback pressures and three sacks. He’s also logged 18 tackles and has continued to make an impact against the run.
The Jaguars’ official Thursday injury report will be released on Thursday afternoon.
