Promotion for the UFC’s debut on Paramount+ will ramp up Friday with a seasonal press conference for UFC 324 and UFC 325, which mark the inaugural events of the new era.
The Jan. 24 card at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will be headlined by a championship doubleheader. In the main event, Justin Gaethje (26-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) is set to face Paddy Pimblett (23-3 MMA, 7-0 UFC) in an interim lightweight title bout that’s happening due to a personal hiatus with Ilia Topuria.
Then in the co-headliner, a highly anticipated women’s MMA super fight will finally go down when bantamweight champ Kayla Harrison (19-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has a long-awaited showdown with former teammate and UFC Hall of Famer Amanda Nunes (23-5 MMA, 16-2 UFC). A number of other key bouts with former champions, rising contenders and more also are slated for card.
Then one week later at UFC 325 on Jan. 31 in Sydney, featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski returns to home soil for the first defense of his second reign against Diego Lopes.
A number of prominent athletes from UFC’s Q1 scheduled are will take the stage at T-Mobile Arena starting at roughly 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. ET. They will answer questions from the media before engaging in faceoffs for the first time in advance of the massive kickoff to the 2026 UFC schedule.
