The Spartans (12-0) will face the Rams (10-2) in the 6A-I title game for the second consecutive season. In that game a year ago, Owasso entered with an unbeaten record, but Bixby pulled off a 43-42 win in overtime after successfully executing a two-point conversion.
Then, both teams faced off in the regular season opener on August 28, with Bixby taking a 49-21 win at the University of Tulsa.
Bixby is also going for its 11th state title in program history, all coming since 2014. The only season the Spartans didn’t win state in that span was 2017.
Owasso is going for its fourth state championship, and the first since 2019.

PREGAME
– Live from Chad Richison Stadium in Edmond, Bixby goes for its eighth straight state championship and its fourth straight since moving up to Class 6A-I. Standing in the Spartans’ way is Owasso, which seeks to avenge an overtime loss to Bixby in last season’s title game and a loss to the Spartans in the regular season opener in August.
