MECHANICSBURG, Pennsylvania, Dec. 6 — The NEXT No. 17 La Salle College [Wyndmoor, PA] Explorers will face off Saturday evening against the Central Catholic [Pittsburgh, PA] Vikings for Pennsylvania’s PIAA Class 6A state championship at Cumberland Valley High School.
La Salle College have been the kings of the east this year, dominating competition in the Philly area while Central Catholic has dominated Western Pennsylvania as they often do. But the Explorers also dominated the Vikings in the season opener way back on August 22, when the boys from Philly emerged victorious with a 23-6 win. That’s Central Catholic’s only loss so far in a 13-1 season while La Salle enters the game at 12-1.
The game is set for a 7 p.m. EST kick.
