FORT COLLINS, Colorado, Dec. 6 — The NEXT No. 1 Cherry Creek [Greenwood Village] Bruins will face off Saturday evening against the Ralston Valley [Arvada, CO] Mustangs for Colorado’s CHSAA Class 5A state championship.
The Bruins are looking to put the wraps on their second consecutive Class 5A state title. They enter the game on a 26-game win streak, but they can actually improve upon last year’s finish with a win over the Mustangs. Cherry Creek was 13-1 a year ago after losing their season opener, but they are 13-0 in 2025.
Ralston Valley also enters the game with a 13-0 record after a 10-2 finish in 2024.
