New York Giants' Jermaine Eluemunor: 'Truly believe I'm one of' best NFC

The New York Giants‘ offensive line has been one of the few bright spots in this otherwise dismal season. One of the main reasons has been health. Last year, Big Blue had just one offensive lineman play 100 percent of the snaps, guard Greg Van Roten.

This season, Van Roten is again playing 100 percent of the plays, but he’s been joined by left guard Jon Runyan Jr., and star left tackle Andrew Thomas has played every snap since coming back from injury in Week 4.

One of the mainstays, however, has been right tackle Jernaine Eluemunor. The veteran lineman has played all over in his career and now has settled in at right tackle, the position that was earmarked for former first-round pick Evan Neal.

Eluemunor could receive support this year for the Pro Bowl, and he took his campaign to social media with some assistance from NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger.

Pro Football Focus recently named Eluemunor an underrated 2026 free agent, highlighting his success this season.

Eluemunor’s 73.2 PFF pass-blocking mark places 23rd among 62 qualified tackles, and his 97.7 pass-blocking efficiency score is 10th. Moreover, Eluemunor sits 14th in pressure rate allowed (4.7%) among qualified tackles since 2024.

The offensive line has improved significantly this year, but the team remains at the bottom of the NFC East and was the first team eliminated from the postseason. Elumunor isn’t very pleased with the results.

“It’s like you do everything you possibly can and you put your body on the line, you want the results, and you don’t get them, it’s just a tough pill to swallow. You just go back to the drawing board and see what you could do better to hopefully get the win next week,” he said.

Pleased or not, Eluemunor deserves Pro Bowl consideration.
