The Board of Trustees will meet Monday morning to approve Campbell’s contract, with his introductory press conference in Beaver Stadium happening after at 12 p.m. EST, per a press release from Penn State Athletics.
Also at the airport was AD Pat Kraft, who after tumultuous week where many Penn State fans wanted him fired, was also greeted with cheers.

As I wrote about Wednesday morning, one of the key pieces of a coaching search is bringing excitement to the fan base. Well, after getting left at the altar by Kalani Sitake, Kraft was able to somehow land the plane on a hire that would ignite the fan base. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that the leaked audio of his meeting with some Penn State football plays has seemingly done the opposite of its intention, with the large majority of Penn State fans now backing Kraft.
