The 2026 SEC football schedule will be released on Dec. 11 via the SEC Network and ESPN.
The 2026 season will be the first year of the nine-game conference schedule format with rotating opponents, in which each team will play at each SEC team at least once over a four-year period.
After two seasons of a two-bye format, SEC teams will have only one open date each. The one-bye format is a first in the 16-team era, which could ratchet up the physicality of the season.
