Up 24-7 at the half, the New England Patriots were merely 30 minutes away from beating the Buffalo Bills to secure the AFC East title. What happened next has been talked about ad nauseam over the last few days: the Patriots collapsed in the second half and saw their lead evaporate before eventually losing 35-31.
With three games left in the regular season, they are therefore now only one game ahead of the Bills in the division. Needless to say, the pressure is mounting.
So, when all is said and done, will the Patriots be able to hold on and secure their first AFC East championship since 2019? That is precisely the question we are asking in this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey.
