Real Madrid Castilla defender Victor Valdepeñas is attracting interest from various top European clubs, according to a report from BILD.

Valdepeñas has enjoyed his start to the 2025-26 campaign, where he has been playing considerably well for Castilla, both as a left-back and as a central defender.

Valdepeñas also made his first team debut in a 2-1 win over Alaves in La Liga last weekend.

Now, teams like Borussia Dortmund are showing serious interest in signing him, while Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen are also working hard in the background for the player’s signature.

The player’s versatility is his biggest strength. Being able to play as a left-back and a centre-back is huge for teams like Arsenal, who have been relying on those types of defenders in the last few years.

Valdepeñas also seems of the same mould, and time will tell how much of his talent is utilised efficiently by any potential suitors.
