New chapters are being written in the story of the 2025 Texas A&M Volleyball season, and the pages will be sealed on Sunday when they compete for a national title. The Aggies played with purpose and determination, sweeping No. 1 seed Pitt 3-0 on Saturday night.
Senior Logan Lednicky captured it best, saying, “Why not us?” In just three short years, coach Jamie Morrison has guided the program to the NCAA Tournament each season and now has them making history. They play an energetic and aggressive brand of volleyball that they have fully embraced. Their roster has few weaknesses, and they stand as the most battle-tested team remaining.
To reach this stage, they had to defeat a strong TCU squad, No. 2 seed Louisville, the No. 1 overall seed Nebraska on its home court, and then the No. 1 seed from the Pittsburgh Regional, Pitt. That is far from an easy path to the title match, yet A&M fought its way through to become the first Texas A&M volleyball team ever to play for a national championship.
