The football world is gathering its popcorn for the start of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where a champion of the African continent will be crowned.

Hosted by 1976 champions Morocco, AFCON 2025 will anoint a new king of Africa, with a wide-open field of suitors hoping to take the throne.

2023 champions Ivory Coast will attempt to become the first back-to-back AFCON winners since Egypt won three in a row from 2006-2010, while Morocco look to make it two host nations in a row to lift the trophy. Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria are all in contention as well, and Nigeria hope to make up for their whiff in World Cup qualifying with a positive run.

The Sporting News brings you everything you need to know to watch the tournament, including how to catch the games across the United States and when each match will take place.
