Patriots coach Mike Vrabel's strong message to team after comeback win

New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel delivered a powerful message to his team following a heart-pounding 28-24 comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.

The team overcame an 11-point deficit to beat the Ravens on the road and improve to 12-3 on the season. They clinched a spot in the playoffs with the victory.

“Listen to me, we had guys step up. We had guys go down. Everybody contributed to this win,” Vrabel said in the locker room. “We’ve got some players in here that are starting to realize what they can do. …Again, I’m proud to be your coach. But we’ve got a long way to go. I want you to realize what your potential is and what we can do if you just compete and stick together. …We are far from being done.”

The Patriots have shown resilience on the road all season and remain unbeaten away from their home building with a 7-0 record. We’ll see if they can keep that perfect record intact in Sunday’s road game against the New York Jets.

They are currently battered with injuries, and it could take a similar next-man-up mentality to overcome them, even against a struggling Jets team.
