First MSU crystal ball prediction logged of Pat Fitzgerald era

The first crystal ball in the Pat Fitzgerald era has been logged…

Michigan State football insider for 247Sports Corey Robinson has logged his first official crystal ball prediction of the Fitzgerald era, and it’s for an in-state prospect with plenty of power four offers. Robinson submitted a crystal ball prediction in favor of the Spartans to land Lundon Hampton of Grand Rapids, Mich.

The crystal ball prediction from Robinson for Michigan State to land Hampton’s commitment is set at a six / medium value level.

Hampton is an unranked prospect at this time, according to 247Sports. He is listed as an athlete in the 2027 class, and plays for Kenowa Hills.

Michigan State is one of more than 10 schools to extend an offer to Hampton, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Pittsburgh, Kansas, Cincinnati, Marshall, Central Michigan, Southern Miss, Eastern Michigan, Toledo, Western Michigan, Hampton and Saginaw Valley State.

There is no reported commitment date or plan for Hampton at this time. So we will have to sit tight and see if he ends up being the first commit of the Fitzgerald era.
