Rams-Cardinals injury report: LA rules out 2, several others questionable

Injuries are among the storylines for the Los Angeles Rams this week, despite the team having little to play for. Several starters are banged up in advance of the playoffs so it’s reasonable to think the Rams will play it safe with their most important players.

On Friday, Sean McVay shared injury updates on several notable names, including Davante Adams, Kevin Dotson Alaric Jackson, Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. He told reporters that Dotson and Josh Wallace have already been ruled out for Sunday, so they will each miss their second consecutive game.

Corum, Adams, Jackson, Williams and Omar Speights are all questionable to play. McVay said he feels good about Williams being able to play, and Tyler Higbee is also expected to be ready to go after returning to practice this week.

Corum’s status will be determined by Friday’s practice so his status is still up in the air.

If the 49ers win on Saturday, the Rams will be locked into the No. 6 seed regardless of whether they win or lose on Sunday. Despite having little or nothing to play for, McVay said the Rams’ starters will still play against Arizona.

The full injury report for both teams will be released after Friday’s practice and will be added to this story.
