FC Bayern vs. Wolfsburg: Live stream, Game thread, How to watch

45’ — The next 45 minutes are now here.

Halftime Observations

  • Bayern’s visitors are going toe-to-toe with them, and they look more organized than the Bavarians.
  • Rare L game from Lennart Karl so far. He’s never been this bad since he broke through. Harry Kane meanwhile is ghosting.
  • Michael Olise and Luis Diaz combining to notch two goals is the output that Bayern needed badly from its wingers.

45+4’ — Halftime in this high energy match.

45’ — Three minutes added on.

30’ — TOR! Luis Diaz gets his goal! Konrad Laimer plays Michael Olise in on the right, and he works his magic to set up Diaz who heads the ball in the net!

29’ — Bayern on the backfoot and can’t get any control in this match. Worrying times.

13’ — Konrad Laimer misjudges a tackle and Wolfsburg equalize.

10’ — Diaz had a chance to put Bayern two goals up but mishits his shot and it goes wide.

5’ — TOR! Josip Stanišić threads a ball through to Luis Diaz, whose cross deflects off a Wolfsburg player and Michael Olise nudges Kilian Fischer in the six-yard box who turns the ball into his own net.

Kickoff! — Bayern is back, boys.

Lineups are out! The much awaited midfield partnership of Tom Bischof and Aleksandar Pavlović is finally here! Josip Stanišić also returns to the back four while Lennart Karl gets the nod at the 10.

Felipe Chavez and David Santos Daiber are among the players on Bayern’s bench today.

Absentees:

Nice little stat for you about Michael Olise:

Bayern Munich will resume the 2025/26 season by hosting Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. The Bavarians remain untouchable in the league, continuing to show their dominance over the rest of the league. Wolfsburg on the other hand hasn’t fared well, sitting in 14th place with just three points separating them from St. Pauli in the relegation play-off spot.

Bayern will have to make do without Jamal Musiala and Joshua Kimmich as either of them are not cleared to play in this match and the next one against Koln. Nevertheless, Vincent Kompany and his men will look to finish the job early and perhaps give precious minutes to promising academy players in the second half.
