This past week was likely the worst yet this season in terms of performances, and as a result, the Alabama Crimson Tide have now seen a significant fall in the latest AP Poll Top 25.
Announced on Monday afternoon, Alabama dropped five spots in the latest AP Poll, now sitting as the No. 18 ranked team in college basketball.
This past week, Alabama began the two-game stretch on the road Wednesday night at Vanderbilt, a game that saw the Crimson Tide suffer their first SEC loss of the season, 96-90. Alabama then returned home Saturday to play at home against an unranked Texas team, a game which saw the Crimson Tide suffer a surprising 92-88 upset loss.
As a result, the Crimson Tide now enter the week sitting at 11-5 overall (1-2 SEC).
Alabama will be back in action for two games this week, starting Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET on SEC Network with a showdown against Mississippi State. The Crimson Tide will also travel to Oklahoma on Saturday, with tipoff set for 1 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
