Borussia Dortmund’s 3-0 win over Werder Bremen in Matchday 17 of the Bundesliga set a new club record.

As per Opta, it was BVB’s sixth clean sheet at home in the Bundesliga this season – a league high, and also a new club record after the first eight home games.

Borussia Dortmund’s record at home

While Dortmund reduced the gap to leaders Bayern Munich – who play on Wednesday – to eight points, only Vincent Kompany’s side, who have played one more game at home this season, have picked up more points on home turf in 2025/26.

With six wins and two draws at the Westfalenstadion, Borussia Dortmund have kept three successive clean sheets, against Hoffenheim, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bremen.

Starting the campaign with consecutive clean sheets against Union Berlin and Wolfsburg, BVB shipped one to RB Leipzig before recording a clean sheet against 1. FC Köln, prior to conceding three against Stuttgart.
