Prep roundup: Standridge shines in big win for West Morgan

Jan. 14—DANVILLE — Haniyah Standridge turned in a star performance for West Morgan on Tuesday as the Rebels defeated Danville 60-25.

The sophomore had a double-double, scoring a game high 27 points while also grabbing 10 rebounds.

Chasity Rikard added nine points and Adily Alberti led Danville with eight points.

West Morgan boys 74, Danville 40: Tay McDaniel poured in a game-high 23 points as the Rebels rolled to a big win on Tuesday.

Landon Henderson added 18 points, while Keelan Murphy added 10. Tristyn Barrett led Danville with 16 points.

Decatur girls 46, Muscle Shoals 34: Carlee Mitchell scored 15 points as the Red Raiders picked up a key area win.

Jadience Smith added 10 points and eight rebounds.

East Limestone boys 60, Athens 41: Coleby Davis led the Indians with a game-high 20 points.

Chris Fitts finished with 16 points, while Torian Mangruen led Athens with 11 points.

Clements girls 63, Colbert County 51: Kyia Rairdan scored 19 and Juicy Farrar had 18 as the Colts picked up a big win.

Keymoni Holloway finished with 14 points.

East Limestone girls 46, Athens 25: Kate Hovis scored 14 points and Sanaa Morgan added 11 as the Indians picked up a win on Tuesday.

Brooklyn Anderson led Athens with nine points.

Madison County girls 58, Elkmont 50: McKenzie Doner led Elkmont with 20 points. Mollie Slaton added 11.

Decatur Heritage boys 80, St. John Paul II 45: Jordan Davis and Jaion Miller each scored 20 points to lead the Eagles to a win on Monday.

Karter Jeffries finished with 13.

Tanner boys 59, Lindsay Lane 55: Matthew Fletcher and Rickey Speights Jr. each scored 12 points to lead the Rattlers.

Jack Sherron led Lindsay Lane with a game-high 23 points.

Tanner girls 46, Lindsay Lane 42: Azaylia Douglas led Tanner with 15 points, while Alice Morrison led Tanner with 22 points.

Hartselle boys 59, Brewer 50: Gray Bennich dropped a game-high 27 points on Saturday to lead the Tigers to a win.

Jackson Page led Brewer with 14, while Cale Smith added 10.

Hartselle girls 43, Brewer 27: Elsie Boyd led Hartselle with 12 points.

Hannah Morrison and Ryelee Cannon each had eight for Brewer.

Elkmont boys 44, Lindsay Lane 42: Junior Tribble scored 13 points to help lead Elkmont to a win,

Jack Sherron and Bryson McMullin each led Lindsay Lane with 13 points.

Elkmont girls 53, Lindsay Lane 24: Briana Nowlin scored 11 points to lead Elkmont.

Emily Galloway led Lindsay Lane with 10.
