Texas A&M’s 2027 recruiting class continues its early surge, securing its tenth commitment as four‑star offensive tackle Kaeden Scott announced his pledge to the Aggies on social media. Scott chose A&M over Arkansas, Ohio State, and Texas, giving offensive line coach Adam Cushing another high‑upside prospect to develop as the program builds out its future trenches.
Scott connected with the Aggies almost immediately during his visit to College Station, and despite interest from several major programs hoping to get him on campus, he never wavered. While nothing becomes official until signatures are on paper, Scott appears to be one of the firmest early locks in A&M’s 2027 class.
“Knew since the first time in College Station, this was home”
At 6‑foot‑7 and 280 pounds, Scott already profiles as a powerful run blocker with the frame and physicality to anchor the edge. His wide base and steady footwork give him plenty of long‑term upside as a pass protector, and his developmental trajectory fits exactly what Cushing has targeted since arriving in College Station.
According to Rivals, Scott is ranked No. 175 nationally and the No. 24 prospect in Texas for the 2027 cycle, making him one of the premier offensive line additions in the early stages of A&M’s class.
BOOM! Texas A&M lands a commitment from 4⭐️ San Antonio (TX) OT Kaeden Scott, per a source.
