Michigan State football’s leading rusher from this past season is taking his talents to the SEC for next year.
Spartans transfer running back Makhi Frazier has reportedly committed to Ole Miss, according to Chris Hummer of 247Sports. Frazier visited Ole Miss on Sunday, and ultimately committed to the Rebels following the visit.
Frazier recorded 520 rushing yards and two touchdowns across eight games this season. He missed four of the final five games, including the final three, with an undisclosed injury.
Frazier was a sophomore this past season, and has two years of eligibility remaining.
Since entering the portal, Frazier received reported interest from a number of big-name programs. He reportedly visited Auburn, Florida, Ohio State and Indiana, but it was Ole Miss in the end who landed his commitment.
