Giants part ways with Senior VP Kevin Abrams; more organizational changes expected

The Giants have officially begun shaking things up in the John Harbaugh-era.

Big Blue has parted ways with long-time executive Kevin Abrams, according to numerous reports.

Sources tell SNY’s Connor Hughes that this is just the beginning, and more change is on the way.

Abrams was with the organization for the past 27 years, surviving four different general manager changes.

He was hired as a salary cap consultant in 1999, and was promoted to assistant GM after three seasons.

The 54-year-old spent 20 years in that role, playing a key part of the front office during their pair of Super Bowl victories.

Abrams moved into a new role as the senior vice president of football operations and strategy after Joe Schoen brought in Brandon Brown from the Eagles to be his assistant in 2022.

Now, he has been fired from that job just one day after Harbaugh was officially introduced as NY’s head coach.
