The winter storms that have hit the South has pushed back Georgia basketball’s next game against Tennessee a day.
The Bulldogs and Volunteers will play Wednesday in Stegeman Coliseum. The schools mutually agreed to the change, according to an announcement on Sunday morning from Georgia.
The tip time remains 7 p.m. and the game will be shown on the SEC Network.
The University of Georgia is already closed on Monday due to the inclement weather.
An Ice Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 a.m. Monday in the Athens area due to significant icing forecast, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The No. 22 Bulldogs are 16-4 and 4-3 in the SEC after an 87-67 loss at Texas on Saturday. Tennessee is 13-6 and 3-3 after a 79-73 win at Alabama.
