Chelsea are level in Naples!
The Blues barely had a sniff in these early moments of the second half, but Joao Pedro has just scored an absolute stunner from nowhere to make it 2-2.
The changes Liam Rosenior made haven’t had much of an effect, but it half time introduction Cole Palmer who was in the mix as the Blues drew level. He and Estevao linked up down the right and worked the ball to JP, who had no support.
He took one superb touch to flick the ball out of his feet into space, and then, feeling the confidence of a hammer finish from Sunday’s win over Crystal Palace, launched a left foot rocket back across goal.

Chelsea now have to go on and win this – the good news is that a draw does nothing for Napoli, so they have to go all out, and we can hopefully pick them off.
It was brilliant to see Palmer get an assist, even an easy one. Let’s get all our attackers on and win this! Liam Delap must be itching to run in behind the Italian side’s defence as they push forward. Even someone like Alejandro Garnacho could do some damage as the spaces open up.
Rosenior has his team back in this – can they win it?
In other news…
The team news for the game had some interesting twists to it – a new formation for the Blues.
Malo Gusto spoke a little about tonight’s game too – he pointed out it’s likely to be a thriller simply because both teams need to win and don’t gain anything from a draw, an unusual setup for a group stage game.
