Ravens players to watch in the revamped Pro Bowl Games

The Pro Bowl has tinkered with its format, in multiple ways, once again. Known as the “Pro Bowl Games” since 2023, this year’s edition will not even take place in a football stadium. Instead, the Moscone Center, a large convention center in San Francisco, will host. It will be held on the first day of the “Super Bowl Experience,” a fan-centric event being held in conjunction with Super Bowl LIX.

And it’s actually not on a Sunday, but on Tuesday night instead.

It kicks off at 8 pm EST on February 3, airing on ESPN and Disney XD. It’s still AFC vs NFC, but it’s 7-on-7 flag football. The Baltimore Ravens tied for the NFL lead in getting six players voted in.

However, Wednesday brought news that wide receiver Zay Flowers dropped out. So now we only have five Ravens to watch (if you are, in fact, planning on watching this).

The list includes two of the NFL’s best young players, regardless of position, in safety Kyle Hamilton and center Tyler Linderbaum. You can make a case that both of these guys are the best players in the league at their position. You also have two hard-hitting players (but in this format, obviously, you can’t hit anybody) in fullback Patrick Ricard and inside linebacker Roquan Smith.

Finally, you have punter Jordan Stout, and that’s going to be very interesting to watch because the Pro Bowl is typically not filled with a lot of punting. It’s a game that is as “optional defending as it gets. Last year’s score was 76-63, and the previous season ended 64-59.

These days, the Pro Bowl is a whole lot of things, but it is definitely not boring.
